Communities of Practice
Connect with colleagues to learn and enhance your practice using the DC:0-5
Communities of Practice (CoPs) are available for mental health providers who have participated in DC: 0-5™ Clinical Training. Participants will meet virtually once a month for six months, and meetings will be facilitated by an experienced IECMH clinician. There is no cost for Apple Health providers to participate.
What are Communities of Practice (CoPs)?
CoPs are spaces to foster relationships with other providers and build upon collective knowledge. The focus of these CoPs is to help translate knowledge learned in the DC:0-5™ training into practice in the context of providing IECMH services to young children and their families and integrating developmentally appropriate assessments and diagnosis using the DC:0-5.
CoPs are not intended to take the place of professional development in the form of additional Infant-Early
Childhood Mental Health training, ongoing clinical supervision, and Reflective Supervision/Consultation.
CoP participants will be practicing under their own licensing/credentialing, and therefore, hold liability for their clinical practice. Further, CoPs do not dictate scope of practice. Professionals are encouraged to reference their credentialing rules and guidance through Department of Health and consult with their professional associations regarding scope of practice considerations.
Submitting an Expression of Interest to share your CoP preferences
does not require a commitment to participate.
