DC:0-5 Overview

Professional Development

The DC:0–5™ Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood is the developmentally-based system for diagnosing mental health and developmental disorders in infants and toddlers.  DC:0–5™ enhances the professional’s ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat mental health problems in the earliest years by identifying and describing disorders of the first years of life that are not addressed in other classification systems, and by pointing the way to effective intervention approaches.

This official training is designed to provide an overview of the DC: 0-5 for allied professionals working with children 0-5 and their families (if you are a clinician involved the diagnosis of infants and young children, please consider the DC: 0-5 Training for Clinicians).
