Laura earned a master's degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Washington University and is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington. She has worked in a number of clinical settings including traditional outpatient services, school settings, as well as intensive wraparound services in the community. 

Laura is a child mental health specialist who has spent her career focusing on working with children and teens. She specializes in working with young children ages birth to 5, teens who self-harm, and youth of all ages who have anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or anger. Through her time working with youth she has also spent some time working with adults with a variety of challenges including, relationship counseling, anxiety, depression, anger, and life transitions. She utilizes an attachment perspective to help each individual she works with understand what is going on in the here and now and how to express their wants and needs in a healthy way.
