About
Lily is a bicultural/bilingual licensed mental health, child mental health specialist and clinical supervisor. For the past 3 years she has been providing comprehensive Mental Health services at the Inspire Programs- ECEAP and MSHS (Migrant & Seasonal Head Start and Early Head Star), in Lynden and Skagit counties in WA State. She is passionate about building relationships and collaborating respectfully with families and staff to understand and respond to the mental health needs of infants, young children, adolescents, adults and families. With more than 25 years of experience in Mental Health services, she has been working in different communities on critical issues including mental health and health disparities, child abuse prevention, healthy development for infants to young adults and cultural considerations for mental health treatments.
Lily worked in Spokane WA, at the Children’s Home society, at the Hillyard Head Start center, and at the Frontier Behavioral Health as MH consultant and treatment provider. In addition, she worked at the Child & Family State Division in Nevada and contributed to the creation of their East Neighborhood system of care center. Moreover, Lily offered specialized mental health treatment for 9 years in her private practice, serving part of her time with children involved in the foster care system or immigration system. She has facilitated live and virtual trainings for diverse groups of professionals with the goal of increasing the potential to deliver trauma informed and culturally informed care for diverse populations served at mental health, health and early childhood centers.
