Patricia is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC) and a member of the ZERO TO THREE Academy of Fellows. Dr. Lakatos is a bilingual and bicultural licensed psychologist with over 28 years of experience working with children birth to five years. She provides psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and training in the early childhood mental health program at the USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as well as infant-family mental health consultation at the Fetal Maternal Center and Newborn Follow Up Programs at CHLA. Her special areas of interest include infant-family mental health services for immigrant populations, services for young children with mental health needs and developmental disabilities, reflective practice, as well as workforce development to better serve young children and their families.
